Music Bank and M Countdown Use Different Entry Systems
Music Bank and M Countdown are both weekly K-pop broadcasts, but their public audience routes are not the same. KBS maintains an official Music Bank audience-application page. Recent M Countdown participation notices are published for individual artists and episodes through official artist channels, including Mnet Plus.

The live audience lottery and an artist’s fanclub pre-recording are different routes. Check which session your notice covers before arranging transport.
How to Check Whether You Can Apply
- Open the Music Bank audience list and select the episode you actually plan to attend.
- Sign in with a KBS account. KBS’s general audience guide says applications are limited to KBS members.
- Read that episode’s age, application, winner-announcement and identity-check instructions before submitting.
- Enter the contact details requested by KBS and keep the confirmation available.
- If selected, bring the exact identification required by the episode notice. Do not assume a passport alone will satisfy every notice.
The official pages checked on October 23, 2026 do not describe a separate, guaranteed foreigner-only route. International visitors should therefore test account eligibility early and rely on the live episode page rather than copied application schedules.
Fanclub Pre-Recording Is a Separate Route
Music Bank can also have artist-specific pre-recordings. Those are separate from KBS’s general audience page. Use the artist’s current official notice and compare every required item with the sa-nok preparation checklist.
Is There a Paid Option?
Tour products can appear and disappear. Only treat one as usable when its live booking page names the program, date, inclusions, cancellation terms and identity requirements. An old search result or screenshot is not proof that seats remain available.
Mnet M Countdown: Artist-Specific Notices
Venue and Schedule

M Countdown is filmed at the CJ ENM Center, not KBS New Wing Open Hall. The KBS venue belongs to Music Bank. Do not use fan pages that mix the two locations.
A current official notice can set a check-in time hours apart from another week’s notice. Always use the notice for the artist and episode you want to attend.
How Foreign Fans Apply
M Countdown does not publish a KBS-style general audience page in the official sources checked for this update. Start with the performing artist’s official notice. For example, an October 8, 2026 Mnet Plus notice required advance selection, official membership and release-specific purchase proof, and explicitly said there would be no on-site participation. That is evidence for that event only, not a permanent rule for every artist.
Mnet Plus is also used for M Countdown voting and related content, as described by CJ ENM’s newsroom, but that does not turn every Mnet Plus account into an audience ticket. Never travel to the studio expecting a passport-only walk-up unless the current official notice expressly permits it.
Is There a Guaranteed Paid Package?
The official Mnet Plus and CJ ENM sources checked on October 23, 2026 do not present a general guaranteed-seat M Countdown product. A reseller offer should be treated as date-specific and unverified until its live page clearly identifies the episode and admission terms. Studio Etiquette for Either Show
- Bring the exact original identification named in the current notice.
- Follow the week’s official notice and staff instructions at the venue.
- Keep phones and cameras put away when recording is prohibited.
- Use the restroom and finish food or drinks before entering the studio.
- Do not expect re-entry after taping starts.
Getting to the Correct Studio
Music Bank and M Countdown are not filmed in the same building. Before leaving, search the venue on Koursea’s Korea place lookup and use its Korean address card when showing the destination to a taxi driver. For Music Bank, use KBS 신관 공개홀. For M Countdown, use CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong.
