Igidae
Igidae offers a more distant view across the water. It is not a simple substitute for the beach: access involves bus connections or additional walking, terrain is less forgiving after dark, and authorities may restrict crowded or unsafe sections. Getting There Without Losing the Evening
Use Busan Metro Line 2 and expect a walk. Gwangan Station and Geumnyeonsan Station are the usual approaches to Gwangalli Beach. Official Busan directions identify Geumnyeonsan exits 3 or 5 as roughly a five-minute walk and Gwangan exits 3 or 5 as roughly a ten-minute walk under ordinary conditions; festival barriers can change the final path.
Do not drive toward the beach. Previous festivals used phased road closures around Gwangalli, Millak, Marine City, Igidae and Gwangan Bridge. The 2026 control map should be treated as authoritative only after Busan City publishes it.
After the show, avoid committing to a single station entrance. Staff may meter access or direct people toward another route.
